Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Competitive Compensation Job Summary Our team is responsible for providing one‑on‑one care to developmentally delayed children and adults across Los Angeles County. You will be improving the lives of our clients by assisting with non‑medical daily living activities while providing a safe home environment. We provide high quality virtual training by trained instructors for those who do not have prior experience. Responsibilities Take care of developmentally delayed children and adults. Report directly to the administrative agent. Assisting with food. Assisting in patient activity, if safe. Light cleaning around the client. Making the patient’s bed and changing linen. Provide emotional support and motivation. Represent the company with a positive image at all times. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of all clients. Maintain appropriate agency records and submit charting on a bimonthly basis before the 15th of every month and the 1st of the following month. Adhere to all reporting regulations per policy. Notify the office of any abnormal findings or conditions. Adhere to all safety requirements per regulation and departmental policy. Maintain regular verbal and written contact with the agency and notify the director immediately of any unusual occurrence or change in patient status. Attend in‑services as scheduled. Adhere to time and attendance policies. Arrive at the client’s home on time and leave when the shift schedule is complete. Qualifications Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred. First aid and CPR certified. Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills. Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift heavy objects. Compassionate, respectful, ethical.
