Product Manager - Industrial Preservation, Paints & Coatings

Job Highlights

Business Strategy: Develop and execute North America business strategies for the Industrial Preservation and Paints & Coatings segments, aligned with global business objectives.

Market Analysis: Assess market opportunities, identify new application areas and gather competitive intelligence.

Pricing & Commercialization: Lead pricing strategies, protect margins and manage commercial terms for assigned applications.

Business Expansion: Ensure market share retention and drive territory growth, including support for negotiations with key customers and distributors.

Portfolio Management: Coordinate regional product development efforts and collaborate closely with Global Marketing and Technical teams as well as supporting functions on prioritized projects.

Sales Enablement: Provide processes, tools, and marketing materials, and facilitate knowledge transfer to the sales force through training sessions and joint customer visits.

Experience / Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent; Master's Degree with a technical background is an advantage.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in the Paints & Coatings Industry with focus on Biocides is necessary.

Previous project management experience is needed.

Excellent analytical skills, problem solving and critical thinking abilities to analyze business scenarios, identify strengths and weaknesses, conduct cost analysis to propose optimum business scenarios and overall strategy.

Proficient communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Ability to travel as needed.

This is a HYBRID role with the expectation to be on-site in the Pittsburgh office at least three days per week every week.
