Senior Network Engineer in Brentwood

Job Description Description The client is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to assist in a network refresh and expansion across 45 of 65 facilities and their data center. The role includes rebuilding and reengineering the network team, designing and documenting network architecture, and mentoring team members. This position is similar to a Lead Network Engineer, with project ownership, architectural involvement, and mentoring responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Lead architecture, design, and enterprise network strategy. Mentor and manage a network engineering team, owning large projects and serving as an escalation point. Work with Azure, VoIP, security standards, and enterprise tools. Support current physical data centers and potential hybrid environments. Qualifications CCNP certification (required). 6+ years of networking experience. Experience substituting for a degree. Strong knowledge of advanced networking technologies. Soft Skills Good attitude and willingness to put in extra work. Passionate and motivated to learn. Travel Requirements Up to 40% travel across 20 states; require frequent facility visits and occasional week‑long trips. Workplace Type Fully onsite at Brentwood, TN. Must be able to come into the Nashville office 4 times a week when not traveling. Job Type & Location Contract position based out of Brentwood, TN. Pay $53.00 - $57.00 per hour.
