What You'll Do:

In this role, you'll assess client needs, develop personalized treatment plans, facilitate counseling sessions, and support recovery efforts. Your expertise will help clients overcome dependencies and build stronger, healthier lives.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in counseling or addiction treatment programs
• Strong understanding of substance use disorders and recovery processes
• Excellent communication and active listening skills
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
• Knowledge of Pennsylvania state regulations related to substance abuse counseling
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills:

• Bilingual abilities or multilingual skills
• Experience with trauma-informed care
• Knowledge of co-occurring mental health disorders
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Valid certification as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or equivalent
• Prior experience working in outpatient or residential treatment settings

Other Requirements:

• Valid state license or certification in substance abuse counseling for Pennsylvania
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings
• Ability to travel to different treatment sites as needed
