Manufacturing Engineering Technician

Manufacturing Engineering TechnicianWe are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician who helps support, improve, and maintain manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, high-quality, and safe production. This role works closely with engineers and production teams to keep operations running smoothly.Key Responsibilities:Assist with setting up and maintaining manufacturing equipment.Support engineers in reviewing processes and identifying improvements.Apply lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and boost efficiency.Work with production teams to ensure new products can be manufactured effectively.Troubleshoot and resolve basic production issues.Perform time and motion studies to improve workflow.Help create and update process documentation and SOPs.Ensure processes follow safety and quality standards.Assist in designing tools or equipment based on engineering needs.Complete routine equipment calibration.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:Qualifications:Associate degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentProficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsKnowledge of lean manufacturing principlesGood communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to read engineering drawings and specificationsHands-on experience with manufacturing tools and equipmentBasic knowledge of manufacturing safety and quality standardsPreferred:Familiarity with ERP systemsExperience troubleshooting and maintaining manufacturing equipmentSkills and Competencies:Technical Aptitude & Equipment UnderstandingProblem-Solving & TroubleshootingLean Manufacturing & Continuous ImprovementCAD Proficiency (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)Process Documentation & AccuracyTime Management & PrioritizationCommunication & Cross-Functional CollaborationAttention to DetailSafety & Quality FocusInitiative & Willingness to Learn
