Nurse Supervisor

Nurse Supervisor Encompass Health invites you to become a Nurse Supervisor, leading patient care and guiding nursing staff throughout rehabilitation journeys. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless implementation of procedures while delivering compassionate, personalized care in a team‑driven environment. Responsibilities Assist in the development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures. Serve as the crucial liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff. Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or on a specific unit. Monitor and manage staff, including on‑the‑spot feedback, annual evaluations, performance counseling, and discipline. Assume patient care as needed and build meaningful relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs. Celebrate patient victories and support successful recovery. Qualifications Current RN licensure required by state regulations. BLS certification; ACLS certification to be obtained within one year. CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting eligibility requirements. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred. Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years). Previous leadership role such as charge nurse or lead capacity with responsibility for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and accountability for patient and staff results.
