Project Specialist

Manpower is seeking a detail-oriented Project Specialist for a reputable manufacturing organization. This position plays a key role in managing customer projects from order receipt through final delivery and payment collection while ensuring exceptional customer service, on-time project execution, and strong financial performance.

Location: Barboursville, WV area
Pay: Up to $55,000 annually, based on experience- Client has final decision
Schedule: Full time- Temp to Perm opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate order status, changes, updates, and resolutions in a timely manner.
• Manage assigned project orders from receipt through completion.
• Coordinate order changes and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Ensure on-time delivery of hardware and software products.
• Monitor project financial performance to meet or exceed booked margins.
• Keep management informed of project progress and financial status.
• Coordinate customer visits, witness testing, plant tours, and related activities.
• Support continuous improvement, quality initiatives, and safety programs.
• Assist leadership with process improvement projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field OR six years of equivalent experience in project management and manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of project management principles and industrial or engineered products.
• Pump manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.
• Experience working with both internal teams and external customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other computer applications.
• SAP experience preferred.

• Experience with engineered products and manufacturing operations.
• Understanding of quality management principles.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service abilities.
• Financial and project tracking experience.
