Project Manager — SBA Risk Management Support

Location: Supporting SBA Headquarters, Washington, DC



Availability: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Eastern

GD Resources is seeking a Project Manager to lead a team providing risk management, financial analysis, and administrative support to the U.S. Small Business Administration. This person will be accountable for contract performance and serve as the primary contact for the government's Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned work, staff performance, deliverables, and contract requirements.

• Manage contract administration and customer relationships, including multiple task orders when issued.

• Coordinate personnel transitions and resolve performance or technical issues.

• Remain available to government contacts during the stated hours and respond to requests to discuss or resolve technical problems within 24 hours.

• Designate a qualified alternate with authority to act during absences.

Required qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or at least 10 years of relevant experience managing contracts of similar scope and complexity across multiple locations.

• Experience successfully planning and carrying out a transition involving at least three contractor employees.

• Demonstrated experience managing concurrent task orders involving risk management, financial analysis, or administrative support, including contract administration and customer relations.

• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Preferred: Knowledge of SBA's 7(a) Loan Program, OCRM risk management protocols, and related policies, procedures, and systems.
