Snowflake DBA (Database Administrator)
We are looking for an experienced Snowflake DBA to manage, optimize, and administer our Snowflake Data Cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, security management, data sharing, cost optimization, and integration with cloud platforms. This role involves working closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Infrastructure teams to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of the Snowflake platform.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4–10 years of experience as a DBA or Data Engineer.
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
- Strong SQL expertise (Snowflake SQL preferred).
- Experience with Snowflake features such as:
- Virtual Warehouses
- Time Travel & Fail-safe
- Clustering & Micro-partitioning
- Resource Monitors
- Zero-copy Clone
- Data Sharing
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python / Shell.
- Familiarity with dbt, Terraform, CICD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps).
