Low Voltage Technician

Low Voltage Technician – Structured Cabling (Laredo, TX) Compensation: $18–$25 per hour, weekly pay, and benefits. Responsibilities Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT6/6A cable. Test installed cable with Fluke or similar testers. Punch down voice and data jacks. Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc. Work safely on ladders or lifts (comfortable with heights). Read and interpret blueprints and system layouts. Install or support access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems (plus). Qualifications 3+ years of commercial/industrial low voltage experience. Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred. BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus. Proficiency with basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi‑vis vest, steel‑toe boots). Working knowledge of telecom/data networks.
