Certifications/Licences:

• CLS or MT (ASCP) or equivalent
• New MT Graduate must pass certification exam.
• Bachelor's degree (or Associates Degree for grandfathered personnel)

Mandatory Experience:

• Position is a 7 on 7 off position working Wednesday-Tuesday on your week to work.
• Shift is 7 AM to 7:30 PM. Will be Every Other Weekend during the week you work. Holidays will be worked if it is your scheduled shift week. Overtime is earned at >80 hours a pay period.
• Ability to work independently is required.
• Certification is also required.
• Medical Laboratory Technician – Must have graduated from an approved school of Medical Technology/Laboratory Science with an Associate's degree and be certified/registered by one of the following agencies: MLT(ASCP), MLT(AMT), CLT(NCA).
• Medical Technologist – Must have graduated from an approved school of Medical Technology/Laboratory Science with a bachelor's degree and be certified/registered by one of the following agencies: MT(ASCP), MT(AMT), CLS(NCA).
• Minimum of one year of experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital laboratory practices, including infection control requirements, chemical and biological hazards.
• Knowledge of governmental and regulating policies and standards.
