A pediatric practice located near Plainfield, NJ is seeking a locum tenens physician to provide coverage in a well-established outpatient setting. Job Highlights: Location: Near Plainfield, NJ Position Type: Locum Tenens Pediatrician Start Date: As soon as credentialed Shift Schedule: 3 days per week Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Preferred days: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (flexible) Call Requirements: 8 call nights per month (flexible on scheduling) Responsibilities: Provide outpatient pediatric care in a well-established practice Approximately 12 well-check visits per day See 15-18 patients per day in the clinic No deliveries or inpatient responsibilities required No supervision of other healthcare providers Practice Setting: Work alongside 2 other physicians and a mid-level provider Each provider is assigned 2 exam rooms and a dedicated Medical Assistant Administrative support from 2 front desk staff and an office manager Utilize Athena EMR for documentation Requirements: Board Certified in Pediatrics Required Active New Jersey Medical License Required Payer Enrollment in Horizon and Aetna Required BLS, ACLS Preferred Must be local to the area Only mileage reimbursement is offered Why This Opportunity?
