Associate Attorney-Municipal Law(Remote)

Job Details Our legal firm is currently seeking a highly skilled and proactive Associate Attorney with a strong background in Municipal Law. This is a permanent, full‑time position that provides an exciting opportunity to work directly with municipalities and government entities, advising on a variety of legal matters. The successful candidate will join our dynamic team of professionals dedicated to providing top‑notch legal services in the realm of municipal law. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive legal counsel to municipalities and government entities on land use, zoning, code enforcement, public contracts, public finance, and related matters. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ordinances, resolutions, and other legal documents. Represent municipalities in litigation, administrative proceedings, and negotiations. Research and analyze complex legal issues, providing clear, concise, and practical advice. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions. Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect clients. Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver optimal representation. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar. Minimum of 5 years of experience in municipal law, focusing on government entities, code enforcement, and related areas. Proven experience representing or advising public entities such as cities, counties, and special districts. Strong litigation skills and the ability to argue effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication, explaining complex issues clearly. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a strategic mindset. High ethical standards and professional integrity. Capability to work independently while collaborating as part of a team. Strong organizational skills, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
