The Security Operations team ensures the stability, performance, and ongoing support of enterprise security tools and services used across the organization.Our mission is to reduce risk and protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company systems and data through effective operational support, continuous improvement, and strong cross-functional collaboration.About the RoleAs an Information Security Engineer – Security Operations, you will provide Level 2 operational support for enterprise security tools and platforms. You will play a key role in maintaining, monitoring, and improving the health of security systems while partnering with engineering and IT teams to resolve issues and enhance security posture.ResponsibilitiesProvide Level 2 support for security tools including Google SecOps, Tanium, CrowdStrike, Ping Identity, and DelineaMonitor, triage, and resolve operational issues, escalating complex problems to engineering (L3) as neededPerform system maintenance activities including patching, upgrades, and configuration updatesSupport vulnerability scanning processes and track remediation efforts with technology teamsAssist in troubleshooting system alerts, integration issues, and performance concernsPartner with DevOps, IT, and Security Engineering teams to ensure secure configurations and best practicesDocument procedures, configurations, and operational runbooksIdentify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to operational efficiency initiativesCriteria3 years of experience in information security, IT operations, or related fieldBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experienceFoundational understanding of security principles and practicesExperience supporting security tools such as EDR, IAM, SIEM, or vulnerability management platformsWorking knowledge of Windows and Linux systemsBasic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environmentExposure to tools such as Google SecOps, CrowdStrike, Tanium, Ping, or Delinea preferredExperience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, or similar) preferredFamiliarity with incident response or security operations workflows preferredThis role requires being onsite in the Rocklin, CA or San Francisco, CA office Monday through ThursdayOur Culture & ValuesWe believe that taking care of our people is vital to our success and we strive to offer equitable and transparent practices for all.
