OR Circulating Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day 5x8-Hour shifts, alternating between 07:00 - 15:30 and 11:00 - 19:30. On-call is required for one weeknight per week and one weekend every 6 weeks, strictly for callback situations.

The OR Circulating Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgeries in a variety of specialties including General, Orthopedic, Neurological, Gynecological, Obstetrics, ENT, Plastic, Vascular, and Eye procedures. This role requires previous operating room circulating experience, preferably with charge experience, and is not open to first-time travelers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the coordination and management of patient care during surgical procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.
• Respond promptly to call back situations and be available within a 20-minute travel radius from the facility.
• Utilize effective communication skills to inform and support patients and their families during the surgical process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active and valid RN license in WA or Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of OR circulating experience.
• Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Current BLS certification.
