Veterinary Specialists of Birmingham is seeking a second internist who shares our passion for patient care and is looking for a progressive, collaborative, and patient‑centric environment. As a rapidly growing 24‑hour emergency and multi‑specialty hospital in central Alabama, we serve a broad referral base across multiple states. Our current specialties include 24/7 emergency, surgery, internal medicine, and ophthalmology. Our state‑of‑the‑art, 12,000 sq. ft. hospital (with room to expand) is fully equipped with everything you need to practice high‑quality medicine, including 9 exam rooms, 3 surgery suites, an endoscopy suite with GI, respiratory, nasal and urinary scoping capabilities, ultrasound suite, a well‑equipped ICU, CT, digital radiography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, in‑house IDEXX laboratory, Ligasure, ventilator, Snyder oxygen cages, and more. Qualifications We are looking for a team player with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a desire to be supported in their specialty.
