If you are interested in joining a team of experienced engineers creating advanced powertrain designs to address future performance, fuel economy and emissions requirements, here is where you want to be.We are expanding, and we are seeking a Chassis Dynamometer Operator for our Vehicle Development Center. The right candidate will be involved with vehicle level benchmarking, instrumented vehicle testing and vehicle level engine calibration inside a state-of-the-art 4WD emissions chassis dynamometer.Primary responsibilities will include setting-up and conducting tests on advanced chassis dynamometer system for certification and development projects. Preventive maintenance of equipment. Maintaining quality assurance procedures. Must be able to work 2nd shift (3:00PM-11:00PM) or 3rd shift (11:00PM-7:00AM).Associates Degree, Trade School or Technical School. Systems knowledge: PC based applications including Microsoft Office. Mechanical or Electrical experience required. Chassis dynamometer experience required. Enthusiastic attitude and a desire to succeed are essential. Effective organizational skills and team working ability desired. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Fabrication experience a plus. Emissions experience a plus.
