Job Title

Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

Location

Zanesville, OH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, Level III Trauma Center Emergency Department with 38 beds and 2 trauma bays
• Assess, triage, and manage emergency patients across a broad acuity spectrum in one of Ohio's top 10 busiest EDs
• Accurately document all patient care activities using Epic EMR
• Participate in holiday rotation as scheduled; time-off requests around holidays are subject to approval and may be limited
• Respond to call requests on an infrequent, as-needed basis

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 completed Emergency Department travel assignments and/or 3 years of current or recent ED experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is required — candidates without documented Epic experience will not be considered regardless of ED experience; Epic experience must be clearly listed in submission
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification strongly preferred
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification strongly preferred
• Experience in a high-volume or trauma-designated Emergency Department
