Global Analytics & Insights Director - Oncology

AstraZeneca seeks a Global Analytics & Insights Director for its Oncology division to lead market research, competitive analysis, and revenue forecasting. The role involves generating strategic insights that inform business decisions across the immuno-oncology portfolio while partnering with cross-functional teams and local markets.
Responsibilities
- Frame strategic business questions and define appropriate analytical approaches for ambiguous situations
- Generate market and customer insights from multiple sources to advise material business decisions
- Lead market research initiatives and interpret primary research to produce actionable insights
- Develop competitive intelligence and ensure implications are reflected in revenue forecasts
- Lead revenue forecasting and drive cross-functional alignment on forecast development and assumptions
Requirements
- Advanced degree in science or mathematics-based field
- Pharmaceutical industry experience in management, strategy consulting, investment banking, or equity analysis
- Qualitative and quantitative market research experience
- Understanding of commercial brand strategy and oncology markets
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without formal authority
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience working with external partners and local markets to validate assumptions
Compensation: $195,468.80 - $293,203.20 USD annual base
