Sales Administrative Assistant

Qualifications Provides administrative and clerical support to relieve sales department manager and staff of administrative details. Responsible for document maintenance including all aspects of filing, operates office equipment. Functions as primary back-up for multi-line telephone system, performs data entry and maintenance functions as assigned, uses customer internet programs to facilitate sales. Summary Summary Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain all department documents per company and customer policies and processes. Function as primary back-up on multi-line telephone system. Function as backup to SOP during heavy work-loads. Use internet to support customer requirements. Perform office tasks and special projects as assigned. Education, Experience and Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills and apply those skills with inter-company personnel as well as with the customer. Strong organizational skills. Strong computer skills, especially the internet and standard Microsoft Office products. Self-motivated, goal oriented, and able to accomplish multiple tasks with minimal direct supervision. Proven prior experience and success as an office clerk. Physical and Environmental Demands Office environment. Sitting for long periods.
