Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU and IMU setting, managing adult patients with diagnoses including COPD, acute respiratory failure, DKA, sepsis, and shock
• Perform EKG interpretation and apply critical thinking skills in a fast-paced critical care environment
• Manage and titrate critical drips including vasopressors and sedation medications
• Utilize facility equipment including cardiac monitors, IV pumps, bedside dialysis, and Meditech EMR
• Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 (ICU) and 3:1 (IMU), with float coverage to Telemetry as needed
• Work every other or every third weekend, contributing approximately 12 weekend hours per rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with ICU or IMU clinical experience
• Minimum 1.5 years of ICU experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Associate degree in Nursing required
• Proficiency with EKG interpretation and critical drip titration (vasopressors, sedation)
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Telemetry experience
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
