Registered Nurse (RN) - FT Days | Dallas Rehab

Position Overview We are opening a Registered Nurse (RN) position at PAM Health Hampden’s brand-new rehabilitation hospital, slated to open this summer. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care from the outset of the hospital’s operations. Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care, including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/family education for post‑hospitalization. Access community resources and coordinate referrals as needed. May perform additional related duties, including acting as Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required). Qualifications Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides; compact licensure accepted if state participates. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Evidence of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, required within 90 days of employment (for Charge Nurses). Preferred one year of inpatient medical‑surgical nursing experience.
