Qualifications CA RN license required BLS ACLS required within one year of hire or transfer Preferred education: BSN, MSN, or enrollment in an RN‑BSN program Responsibilities Practice guided by the Code of Ethics and professional behavior standards Identify high‑risk patients and initiate appropriate interventions Maintain patient confidentiality and act as patient advocate Deliver nonjudgmental, nondiscriminatory care preserving patient autonomy Apply the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) documented through observation, peer review, and audits Use quality‑of‑care data to initiate practice changes and recommend improvements Assist in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and practice guidelines Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical practice and health services Engage in quality improvement studies, implement findings, and share results Collaborate and communicate with patients, families, and other health‑care providers Monitor documentation for appropriate referrals and formulate care plans involving patients Make referrals and manage continuity of care as needed Team Leader Responsibilities Primary clinical resource for staff and role model/mentor Represent Nurse Manager in absence, provide leadership and support Support staff during orientation, preceptor activities, and evaluations Manage staff assignments, shift reports, breaks, and staffing needs Coordinate staffing and resource utilization, ensuring equipment checks are completed Coordinate care in high‑risk/emergent situations and communicate critical information to leadership Ensure collaboration among staff, physicians, and departments; maintain open communication lines Document and report patient care issues; ensure proper nurse completion of Statements of Concern Provide employee guidance and notify leadership of counseling needs Perform additional duties as assigned Pay Range: $46.44 – $69.66 per hour. #J-18808-Ljbffr
