Packaging Operator with Manufacturing Associates

Packaging OperatorWe are seeking a dedicated Packaging Operator with Manufacturing Associates to join our dynamic production team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of products in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating packaging equipment, supporting manufacturing processes, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality production while developing skills in manufacturing operations and quality assurance.Responsibilities include adherence to and enforcement of GMP compliance, performing quality inspections (equipment challenges and verification, components, bulk product, work-in-process and finished goods) related to contract packaging, reviewing documentation and verifying component attributes. The impact of the quality inspection process directly impacts company compliance to regulatory requirements and customer satisfaction. Read and understand process steps within the packaging record to ensure compliance during the packaging process. Assist where needed with the overall efficiency of the production within the assigned room or rooms. Inspect units for quality as they are packaged. Responsible for performing quality inspections as required per the packaging record and per AQL requirements. Inspections may include visual, functional, destructive and count checks. Verify the accuracy, completeness and supported documentation of the packaging requirements outlined below and ensure all are supported by the appropriate documentation within the Batch Record.Skills include strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot packaging equipment. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with FDA regulations, CGMP standards, and quality assurance protocols. Proficiency in packaging processes, assembly, and the use of hand tools. Warehouse experience including forklift operation for material handling. Knowledge of manufacturing operations with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.
