A Special Nurse for a Special Patient Because this patient is medically fragile and particularly vulnerable to illness and infection, we are looking for a nurse who is willing to take additional precautions to help protect the patient's health and safety . The ideal nurse for this case would be comfortable making this patient their primary nursing commitment and limiting activities that could significantly increase exposure to illness, including working in other high-exposure healthcare settings or attending large, crowded events .
