Opportunity:
Advanced Practice – Physician Assistant – Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery
Job Details:
- Assist in CABG and open heart surgeries, valve repair and replacement procedures
- Perform EVH/vein harvesting with demonstrated independent ability
- Provide SFA exposure and sternotomy closure
- Experience required as SFA in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
- Provide critical care management within a CV ICU setting
- Manage pre- and post-operative patient care
- Operate and manage Impella device support
- Perform endoscopic radial artery harvesting
- Perform chest tube placement and sternotomy closure
- Perform arterial and venous sheath placement
- Perform central venous line placement
- 10 patient encounters per shift
- Board certification required with ACLS certification
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
