Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 4x12 Hours (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in labor, preterm labor, triage, and low-risk antepartum settings across 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Perform and assist with circulating, scrubbing, pre-op, post-op, and OB-GYN surgical procedures
• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and support GYN surgeries and couplet care
• Administer blood and blood products, and manage specialized equipment including epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac
• Administer high-alert medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
• Float to Post-Partum or NICU based on skill set as needed; maintain staffing ratios of 1:1–3

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; active compact license accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Epic EMR experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with transition nursery and high-risk delivery settings
• Demonstrated competency in couplet care and low-risk antepartum care
