Shipping Clerk - Jacksonville, IL

Full-Time Monday-Friday 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

Pay: $16.00 per hour

We are hiring a Shipping Clerk for a growing Jacksonville, IL manufacturer. Responsibilities:

• Operate a stand-up forklift for approximately 75% of the workday
• Load and unload trucks
• Pick customer orders
• Package and box products for shipment
• Label outgoing orders
• Weigh skids and prepare shipments
• Maintain an organized shipping area
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Follow safety procedures and shipping schedules

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift experience required
• Stand-up forklift experience preferred
• Shipping, warehouse, order picking, or material handling experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Work Environment:

• Warehouse is not climate controlled
• Industrial fans are used during warmer weather
