Vascular Surgeon MD/DO | High-Volume Program + Flexible Coverage Blocks | Midland, MI

Vascular Surgeons - have fall dates open? Put them to work with a high-volume program offering multiple coverage blocks through the end of 2026.

We're seeking a BC/BE Vascular Surgeon MD/DO for a locum tenens opportunity in Midland, MI. This assignment offers a full vascular surgery scope across clinic, inpatient, OR, vascular lab, and call, backed by experienced APP support.

Candidates who can cover the majority of the open dates will receive priority consideration.

• High-Volume Vascular Surgery Program
• Approximately 2,371 procedures annually
• More than 10,000 vascular testing reads annually
• Approximately 5,995 annual clinic visits across the surgical team
• Productivity at approximately the 90th percentile
• Full vascular surgery scope
• Cath/IR/Hybrid OR access
• 4 APPs providing clinical support
• No APP supervision responsibility
• Epic EMR + Dragon dictation
• Michigan license or IMLC considered
• Credentialing typically approximately 30 days

This is a true full-scope vascular surgery opportunity, including:

• Inpatient rounding
• Outpatient vascular clinic
• Vascular procedures and surgery
• Cath/IR/Hybrid OR procedures
• Traditional OR cases
• Vascular Lab
• Vascular testing interpretation
• Weekday call
• Weekend call
• Holiday call as scheduled

• Monday-Friday clinic and surgical coverage
• Weekend call approximately 1:3
• Occasional coverage up to 2 weekends per month
• Weekday and holiday call as scheduled
• One business day of orientation/Epic training
• Up to 2 business days of proctoring
• 5 proctored cases required

• MD/DO Vascular Surgeon
• Board Certified or legitimately Board Eligible
• Active Michigan license or IMLC eligibility
• BLS + ACLS
• Minimum 1 year of applicable experience
• Full-scope vascular surgery capabilities
• Ability to meet required recent case volume

Candidates must demonstrate at least 50 major vascular surgical procedures within the past 12 months, reflective of the privileges requested.

This must include:

• At least 7 open aortic cases
• Appropriate mix of recent vascular surgical procedures
• Case logs available for credentialing review
