Directional Driller

Job Description Job Description We have an immediate opportunity for a Directional Drill Operator for the Teton County area of Idaho. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a directional drill for telecom construction projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to operate directional drills and locators
Possesses a Class A CDL with airbrake endorsement
Ability to train other operators
Ability to operator Directional Drill for Small Size (10K-20K capacity)
Tanker Endorsement Certificate required
Responsible for cleaning, checking fluid levels and conducting visual inspection of equipment daily
Excellent communicator – ability to communicate with supervisors and co-workers effectively
Knowledge and Ability
Horizontal drill operator experience required
Duct, cable, and vault construction experience required
Understanding of utility locating laws and compliance procedures
This position requires ability to walk, stand, stoop, sit, reach and lift
Ability to work in climate weather
