Assembler - 1st Shift Wage: $20.82/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am 2:30pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment is hiring for Assemblers in Mayville! These opportunities are Direct Hire positions on 1st shift. Apply today to get started! Assembler Responsibilities: Read and understand blueprints and routings to produce parts to required specifications. Ensure quality of all assemblies produced. Perform first-piece inspection and ongoing inspections. Perform routine maintenance and keep work area neat and clean. Follow all machine operation and machine guarding rules. Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality, and safety. Requirements for Assembler: - Ability to assemble manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products. - Equipped with necessary tools to perform job functions (tools provided by the site). - Able to operate assembly equipment such as rivet machines, assembly presses, and power tools. - Physical ability to: - Stand, sit, and bend frequently. - Push, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs frequently. - Reading and writing ability to follow work orders and prepare basic production reports. - Adequate visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts. - Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment properly.
