Store ManagerHome Hardware Center in Rayville, LA, is looking for an experienced, results-driven Store Manager to lead our team and oversee all aspects of store operations. We are seeking a proven retail leader with at least 3 years of experience managing a store who can drive sales, develop employees, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain efficient, profitable operations. If you have a strong background in retail management and enjoy leading people, serving customers, and growing a business, we encourage you to apply!Key ResponsibilitiesStore Leadership & Customer ServiceOversee daily store operations to ensure an exceptional customer experience and efficient business performance.Lead by example in delivering friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive customer service.Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop employees while promoting teamwork, accountability, and high performance.Address customer concerns promptly and work to resolve issues effectively.Build lasting relationships with homeowners, contractors, and other customers while identifying opportunities to grow sales.Supervise sales, warehouse, and yard operations to ensure customers receive accurate, complete, and timely service.Sales, Budget & Financial PerformanceDevelop and execute strategies to meet or exceed sales, profitability, and budget goals.Monitor store performance, manage expenses, and control labor costs while maintaining excellent customer service.Schedule employees effectively to support customer demand and business objectives.Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve productivity, and strengthen store performance.Merchandising & Inventory ManagementEnsure merchandise is properly stocked, priced, displayed, and organized.Oversee seasonal merchandising, promotional displays, product assortments, and store presentation.Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure sales, returns, transfers, and adjustments are properly documented.Monitor inventory levels to meet customer needs while minimizing loss and unnecessary inventory investment.Ensure merchandise is received, stored, and handled properly throughout the store, warehouse, and yard.Safety, Loss Prevention & OperationsPromote a safety-first culture and ensure employees follow established safety procedures.Maintain a clean, organized, and secure store, warehouse, and yard.Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operated safely.Conduct regular safety meetings and reinforce company policies and loss-prevention practices.Communicate operational concerns, customer feedback, and opportunities for improvement to company leadership.QualificationsAt least 3 years of experience as a Store Manager, with demonstrated responsibility for store operations, employee supervision, and business performance.Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team.Strong customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Experience managing sales goals, budgets, payroll, inventory, and operating expenses.Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and inventory control.Experience with hardware, building materials, lumber, or home improvement products is highly desirable.Ability to make sound business decisions, manage multiple priorities, and work independently.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.Ability to perform the physical duties of the position, including lifting merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds and climbing ladders, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.Employee BenefitsCentral Network Retail Group (CNRG) offers a range of benefits designed to support employees and their families.
