• Location: Waldwick, NJ
• Job Type: Full-Time
• Work Setting: In Person
• Pay: $45.00–$52.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM + approximately 1 Saturday/month
• Expected Hours: 40 hours/week

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Lunch: 1-hour unpaid lunch
• Saturday: Approximately 1 Saturday per month
• • 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, or
  • 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
• No regular on-call requirement
• Overtime opportunities available

Position Overview

A well-established, fast-paced outpatient medical imaging facility in Waldwick, New Jersey is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join its Mammography team.

This is a multimodality position with responsibilities that include screening and diagnostic mammography, as well as rotation through general X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and DEXA/Bone Density services.

The ideal candidate will have strong mammography and X-ray experience, excellent patient-care skills, and the ability to remain professional and composed in a busy, team-oriented environment.

Stereotactic/biopsy experience is strongly preferred.

-> Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations.
• Provide coverage and rotate through general X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and DEXA/Bone Density services.
• Work collaboratively across three mammography rooms in a busy outpatient practice.
• Provide patients with a professional, compassionate, and positive experience.
• Maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow all applicable safety, regulatory, and imaging protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff.
• Maintain a high standard of patient care and satisfaction.

-> Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• 1–2 years of experience in both Mammography and X-ray preferred/required based on posted requirements.
• Must be in good standing with ARRT – Radiography and Mammography .
• NJDEP license required.
• 3D Tomography certification required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy, team-oriented outpatient environment.
• Stereotactic/biopsy experience strongly preferred.

-> Compensation & Differentials

• Base pay: $45.00–$52.00/hour
• After 5:00 PM: 115% differential
• Saturday: 125% differential
• Sunday: Double time, although Sunday work is not currently available
