Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in school psychology
• State certification as a School Psychologist (required)
• At least two years of experience as a school psychologist intern or equivalent
• Proficiency in conducting and interpreting psychoeducational assessments
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams
• Technical skills for administering, scoring, and reporting assessments digitally
• Adaptability in dynamic, time-sensitive situations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services
• Conduct individual and group counseling, offering mental health support for students
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents, providing consultation and strategies to support student growth
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
• Coordinate crisis management programming and interventions within the school and district
• Maintain thorough records and prepare detailed, insightful reports
• Provide in-service training and stay informed of current professional best practices and legislative requirements
• Liaise with community medical, social, and mental health agencies to ensure holistic student support
