- AbInitio (nice to have, similar to Gathr)

Job Overview:


As a Hadoop Developer you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing data processing solutions using the Hadoop ecosystem. You will be responsible for building scalable, distributed applications that enable efficient data ingestion, processing, and analysis. The project will focus on moving away from data lake and EDW to Gathr.



Qualifications and Skills:


8+ years experience as a Hadoop Developer with a strong understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem.
8+ years experience in programming languagesJava and Scala.
8+ years experience with JavaScripting.
8+ years experience with distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark.
Experience with Gathr and AbInitio are strongly preferred.
Experiencewith Hadoop ecosystem components, such as Hive and CDP.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex data processing challenges.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of assigned tasks and delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
