Responsibilities Three Trails Behavioral Hospital in the area of Independence, MO, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Therapist to provide high‑quality mental health services to individuals, families, and/or groups. The ideal candidate is client‑focused, ethical, and committed to helping clients achieve meaningful, lasting change. The name Three Trails was selected to honor the historical significance of the city of Independence as the starting point for the Santa Fe, Oregon and California Trails. The logo icon is a compass, symbolic of wayfinding and the personal journey to recovery. The new hospital will begin service in the second half of 2026. The Mental Health Technician (MHT) will: Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions. Conduct client assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and organizational standards. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and community resources. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards. Active, unrestricted state licensure (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW). Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and clinical documentation skills. Experience with behavioral health or related field preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
