Job Title Math Lecturer (9M, Lima Campus) Department Department of Mathematics, Lima Campus Position Summary The Lima campus of The Ohio State University seeks a lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, starting Autumn 2026. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to the teaching mission of the university and will teach calculus, pre‑calculus, statistics, computer science, and linear programming courses at the college level. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction in calculus, pre‑calculus, statistics, computer science, and linear programming courses. Develop and assess student learning, providing timely feedback and support. Maintain effective classroom environments conducive to learning. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development. Engage in scholarly activities and professional development as required. Required Qualifications Master’s or Doctoral degree in mathematics or a related field. Evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate level. At least 1 year of teaching experience at the college level. Desired Qualifications Experience working as part of a teaching team. Enthusiasm and self‑motivation. Prior teaching experience at a land‑grant university, regional campus, or the Ohio State University.
