Cath Lab Technician Profession: Cath Lab Technician Specialty: Cath Lab Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10 Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM) Experience: 3+ years of recent experience required; Two years of travel experience required License: Current MA License as Radiology Tech Certifications: ARRT Certification, AHA ACLS, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - ARRT Certification - Current MA License as Radiology Tech - AHA ACLS - BLS Description: ARRT Certified Radiologic Tech required for Cath Lab. The position involves 40 hours per week. There will be 7 call shifts per schedule block, dependent upon staffing. 3 of these shifts will include a full weekend: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The unit includes a Cardiac Catheterization and EP lab with 2 rooms. Procedures performed include PCI, Impella, balloon pump, device implant, and ablations. Candidates must have experience in interventional cardiology, PCI, scrub, and EPIC. Responsibilities include scrubbing for device implants, lead revision, and ablations. The patient population is adult. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC - Cupid. Equipment includes Toshiba X-Ray and Cannon equipment. Floating may be required to interventional radiology.
