Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Help with mobility, transfers, walking, and light exercise.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and basic household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, mood, or behavior.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Follow all care instructions and respect the client’s privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, home care, or healthcare experience is preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and respectful personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and assisting with mobility.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a background check and provide professional references.
