Senior Manager - Indirect Strategic Sourcing

As the Senior Manager - Indirect Strategic Sourcing, you will be responsible for helping build and lead Wesco’s enterprise indirect procurement sourcing function, developing sourcing strategies, optimizing supplier performance, improving spend visibility, and delivering measurable cost savings across indirect spend categories. You will be accountable for partnering with business leaders to align sourcing priorities with enterprise objectives, establish scalable sourcing processes, supplier governance practices, and support procurement transformation initiatives within a newly developing indirect procurement organization.Responsibilities:Lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide indirect sourcing strategiesManage supplier relationships and drive vendor rationalization initiatives across multiple spend categoriesLead contract negotiations focused on cost reduction, risk mitigation, and service optimizationIdentify opportunities to optimize more than $2B in indirect enterprise spendPartner closely with business stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and align sourcing strategiesEstablish supplier governance and performance management programsDrive compliance with procurement policies and sourcing standardsDevelop sourcing roadmaps that support organizational growth and transformation initiativesBuild and lead a high-performing indirect procurement team as the organization scalesCollaborate closely with the Operations Excellence Lead to create a seamless Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Procure-to-Invoice (P2I) operating modelSupport future procurement technology and process transformation initiativesQualifications:Bachelors Degree - Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Operations, or related discipline required; Masters Degree preferred8 years of progressive experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or related leadership rolesExperience leading indirect sourcing functions within a large-scale B2B organizationProven ability to negotiate complex supplier agreements, deliver measurable cost savings, and manage supplier governance and vendor performanceStrong executive presence with demonstrated ability to influence senior business leaders and lead cross-functional initiativesDemonstrated people leadership experience managing teams, developing talent, and building or transforming procurement organizationsKnowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing standards, compliance requirements, supplier governance, and vendor managementExperience with enterprise procurement technologies, sourcing tools, contract management systems, or procure-to-pay platforms preferredExperience supporting procurement transformation initiatives, operating model design, or process improvement efforts preferredExperience managing large indirect spend portfolios across multiple categories preferredAbility to travel 0% - 25% #LI-SG1This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements. For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents.
