23 rooms. Years of experience REQ: Minimum 3 years' experience required.

Weekend REQ: 1 per month.

Certs REQ: BLS required. CNOR preferred.

Is on-call REQ? Yes- 1/week though it's no usually that often anymore

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Within skill set-rarely happens

Open to accommodating block schedule? No.

Locals accepted: No- must live at least 50 miles from facility to apply.

Must have active IL license in hand or be in application process to apply. RTO Restrictions: All requested time off must be reviewed and approved by manager.

Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.

Special Requirements: Will work with all service lines except CV. General OR and Trauma experience required. Cerner experience preferred. Level I trauma experience required. Required Bariatric Case Experience: Laparoscopic assisted cases. Required General Surgery Case Experience: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection, Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Mastectomy, Thyroidectomy partial/total, Whipple. Required Neurology Case Skills/Experience: Cervical fusion, Craniotomy, Laminectomy/discectomy, Lumbar fusion. Required Orthopedic Case Skills/Experience: Arthroscopy, Carpal Tunnel release, Closed reduction of fractures, Open reduction of fractures. Required Plastic Surgery Case Skills/Experience: Free Flap - Microvascular. Required Transplant Skills/Experience: Organ donation. Required Urology Case Skills/Experience: Cystoscopy, Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy. Required Trauma Case Skills/Experience: Amputations, Gunshot/stab wounds, MVA (multiple injuries). Required Emergency management Skills/Experience: Code response, Fire safety, Latex Allergy, Malignant Hyperthermia. Required Equipment/Instrumentation/Supplies Experience: Electrosurgical units, Fiber optic light sources/cords, Hana tables. Confirm they understand the role requirements and are committed to completing compliance requirements in a timely manner. Confirm housing has been reviewed and secured (or can be secured) for the assignment location. SSN and DOB required at time of submission. Provide 2 3 interview availability windows with submission. RTO and start date must be confirmed and accurate at time of submission. Up to 5 non-holiday RTO days may be auto-approved. Candidate must work 2 of the 3 major holidays. Required certifications must be included based on the job/unit description. AHA and Red Cross certifications accepted. RQI cards are not accepted. Illinois license must be active and in hand at time of submission unless otherwise noted in the job description. Background check findings must be disclosed at submission for client review and approval. Submission Rules : References may be pending at time of submission. Previous permanent or PRN employees must be separated from the facility for at least 12 months before returning as a traveler. Floating is required for all travelers and may include floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities. Local candidates are accepted for all specialties except OR RN. OR RN candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility. Start / Facility Instructions Compliance Requirements: Lab appointment, DocuSign documents, and badge photo must be completed within 1 week of contract signing.
