Digital Content Coordinator

Digital Content SpecialistNortheast Community College is seeking a full-time Digital Content Specialist. The purpose of this position is to:Support the Strategic Communications department by gathering information and creating accurate and engaging content that advances Northeast Community College's mission, strategic priorities, enrollment goals and institutional brand; Tell the Northeast story through written, visual and multimedia content that highlights students, faculty, staff, alumni, academic programs, partnerships and community impact; Create content for the College website, print publications, news releases, media kits, social media channels, email marketing, and employee communications; Strengthen consistent, brand-aligned messaging across internal and external communications; Help maintain consistent messaging, editorial standards and visual identity across College communications; Support strategic communications by contributing story ideas, gathering information and creating content for College departments, initiatives and events. This position will adapt content for different audiences and communication channels to support student recruitment, employee communications and community engagement. Collaborate with campus partners to ensure communication materials are accurate, audience-centered and aligned with College priorities, editorial standards and visual identity.Education: Associate's degree or higher in the field of communication or media arts.Experience: Two years or more of marketing, public/media relations or communications experience preferred as well as experience creating social media content for businesses or organizations and experience in using content manager systems (CMS).Skills: This position requires contact with coworkers from other organizational units of the College, primarily non-department heads, and students, vendors, and the general public.This position is eligible for full-time fringe benefits package including: College-paid health insurance premiums for single, employee/spouse, employee/children or family plans; College-paid employee dental premiums; College paid life insurance and long-term disability insurance; Competitive rates for vision plans and dependent dental; Up to 9.5% matching on 403(b) retirement plan; BestCare EAP; Flex spending plans; Generous leave package.
