ServiceNow CMDB Developer

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow CMDB Developer to design, develop, and maintain CMDB solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in CMDB architecture, Discovery, Service Mapping, integrations, and ITOM modules, along with hands-on expertise in customizing and optimizing ServiceNow applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CMDB solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
• Configure and customize CMDB classes, relationships, and data models.
• Implement and manage ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and IntegrationHub.
• Ensure CMDB data accuracy, integrity, and governance through reconciliation and normalization processes.
• Create workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and automation solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and application teams to maintain accurate CI data.
• Troubleshoot CMDB-related issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Support ITOM initiatives including Event Management, Discovery, and Asset Management integrations.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong hands-on experience with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
• Experience in ServiceNow ITOM implementation and administration.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow development best practices.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, integrations, and MID Server configuration.
• Strong understanding of CMDB data governance, reconciliation, and normalization.
• Experience with ServiceNow upgrade activities and platform enhancements.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITSM best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
