NFC Mobile App Developer

Kforce has a client in Atlanta, GA that is seeking an experienced NFC Mobile App Developer to design and develop next-generation mobile applications that enable secure, seamless access to smart locks and connected IoT devices. Key Responsibilities: Mobile Application Development:

Design, develop, test, and maintain native mobile applications for Android (Kotlin) and/or iOS (Swift)
Build scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile solutions that enable smart lock access and device management
Optimize application performance, reliability, and responsiveness across multiple device types and operating systems
Collaborate with product, UX/UI, and backend teams to ensure a consistent and intuitive user experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
3+ years of mobile application development experience on Android and/or iOS platforms

3+ years of hands-on experience with NFC technologies, including:

Android NFC APIs
Core NFC (iOS)
Tag reading/writing
Credential exchange and authentication workflows
3+ years of experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) integration and communication
3+ years of experience working with IoT devices, embedded hardware, or connected device ecosystems
3 years of React Native or cross-platform frameworks
Strong experience with Kotlin and/or Swift development
Experience integrating REST APIs and cloud-based services
Knowledge of secure mobile application development practices and encrypted data storage
Experience working in Agile development environments
