Physician Assistant (PA) Orthopedics Prescott Valley, AZ Overview: Our orthopedic practice in Prescott Valley is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to provide office-based orthopedic care, including injections, new patient consults, and post-operative follow-up. New graduates and experienced PAs are both encouraged to apply. Position Offers: Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Competitive salary: $145 000 annually (DOE) Health and dental insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Continuing Medical Education (CME) support Malpractice coverage provided Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive orthopedic patient assessments, including detailed musculoskeletal exams Evaluate patients pre- and postoperatively, monitor recovery, and adjust care plans as needed Develop and implement individualized orthopedic treatment plans in collaboration with supervising surgeons Order, review, and interpret diagnostic imaging and lab tests to guide clinical decisions Manage orthopedic pain using evidence-based pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic strategies Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatment, and rehabilitation expectations Document patient encounters and treatment plans accurately in the EHR Collaborate with surgeons, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members, including limited hospital rounding Qualifications: Active, current Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in Arizona Good hand/eye coordination and ability to work independently Orthopedic injections experience preferred Why Join Us: Join an orthopedic practice where your clinical skills directly support patients through every stage of their orthopedic care, backed by strong compensation and comprehensive benefits.
