Job Overview Registered Nurse – Surge Unit Day/Night Rotator (12-hour shifts, 36 hours weekly with every other weekend requirements) $15,000 Bonus eligible! (Paid in 3, 6, and 12 months) Nursing Student Loan Paydown Program up to $20,000. Unit Description The surge unit is a 14-bed unit that specializes in providing inpatient level of care to patients who are awaiting inpatient bed placement. We specialize in cardiac/telemetry and medical/surgical patients. The unit is overseen by the CICU inpatient managers and the position is based in the CICU, primarily assigned to the Surge Unit with expectation to float to other areas as needed. The RN has a patient ratio of 1 to 4 and LNA 1 to 14. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Current New Hampshire, compact, or multistate licensure as a Registered Nurse required. Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment. ACLS preferred. Shift Details Day/night rotator for the surge unit.
