Revenue Cycle Coordinator / Medical BillerOptimal Health Chiropractic & Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Coordinator to help manage the financial health of our growing multi-location chiropractic and physical therapy practice.This position is ideal for an experienced medical biller who enjoys solving problems, tracking down outstanding claims, improving collections, and helping a healthcare team operate efficiently.Position OverviewThe Revenue Cycle Coordinator will be responsible for managing and improving all aspects of the revenue cycle, including claim submission oversight, denial management, insurance verification, authorizations, accounts receivable, and reporting.This role will work closely with clinic leadership, providers, front desk staff, and our EMR system to ensure accurate billing and timely reimbursement.Position TypePart-Time (20–30 hours per week initially)Flexible schedule availableIn-person requiredResponsibilitiesRevenue Cycle ManagementReview and monitor claim submission processesTrack and resolve denied or rejected claimsFollow up on unpaid insurance claimsManage accounts receivable aging reportsMonitor claims over 30, 60, and 90 daysEnsure timely payment posting and reconciliationInsurance & AuthorizationsVerify patient benefits and eligibilityObtain and track insurance authorizationsMonitor authorization expirationsAssist with payer communication and problem resolutionReporting & AnalyticsGenerate weekly and monthly billing reportsMonitor collection trends and KPIsTrack denial rates and identify recurring issuesReport findings and recommendations to leadershipCompliance & Documentation SupportReview documentation for billing complianceIdentify coding or documentation deficienciesWork with providers to improve claim accuracyStay current with insurance and payer requirementsPreferred Qualifications3+ years of chiropractic, physical therapy, or outpatient rehabilitation billing experienceStrong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, modifiers, and insurance billing processesExperience with Medicare, commercial insurance, and workers' compensationExperience managing denials and appealsKnowledge of accounts receivable managementStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsHighly PreferredChiropractic billing experiencePhysical therapy billing experienceMulti-provider practice experienceRevenue cycle management experienceEMR and practice management software experienceSuccess MetricsThe successful candidate will be responsible for helping achieve:First-pass claim acceptance rate above 95%Denial rate below 5%AR over 90 days below 10%Timely authorization managementAccurate reporting and revenue trackingContinuous improvement of collection performanceAbout UsOptimal Health Chiropractic & Physical Therapy is a growing sports medicine, chiropractic, and rehabilitation practice with multiple locations in South Jersey.
