New Business Processor

SWAN Capital is an independent, registered investment advisory firm on the Gulf Coast, with offices in Pensacola, FL and Daphne, AL. We help individuals and families navigate retirement through personalized planning and a client experience built around clarity and peace of mind. We're looking for an experienced New Business Processor to handle account opening and new business processing for our financial services team — someone who's already worked with investment, insurance, or annuity applications and needs minimal ramp-up to run independently. Carriers dictate the application requirements and updates; your job is making sure every one of them is completed exactly right, every time, without anything slipping through. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process investment (AUM) accounts accurately and efficiently Complete and submit insurance applications, following each carrier's specific requirements precisely Track life insurance applications from signing through underwriting to policy issue Process Roth conversions and account transfers Coordinate with the Portfolio team on cash needs for client accounts Maintain daily tracking logs and deliver weekly status updates to advisors and leadership Notarize client documents as needed Respond to advisor and client inquiries within 24 hours What You Bring 2+ years processing new business applications in financial services — investment, insurance, or annuity accounts specifically (required) Working knowledge of Tax Qualified and Non-Tax Qualified account types Comfort with terms like NIGO (Not In Good Order), underwriting workflows, and carrier-specific submission requirements This work is highly routine and carrier-directed — success here isn't about financial expertise or independent judgment, it's about never missing a signature, a date, or a required field, on the same steps, every time Ability to work independently after a short ramp-up Intermediate to advanced computer skills; Excel proficiency a plus Compensation $22.00 – $26.00 per hour 401(k) with 8% employer match, health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off and paid training, advancement opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
