Shipping/Receiving Coordinator
Our client, a leading logistics and supply chain organization, is seeking a dedicated Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator, you will be part of the Shipping Department supporting the logistics and transportation team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: New Bern, NC
Pay Range: $18.00
Shift: 1st
What's the Job?
- Coordinate the movement, control, and data accuracy of materials in the shipping area.
- Work with customer service to coordinate the shipment of customer orders.
- Collaborate with carriers to route outbound shipments efficiently.
- Perform invoicing, Bills of Lading preparation, and order fulfillment tasks.
- Assist in duties of the Shipping Team Leader during their absence.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of Parcel, TMS systems, and export documentation.
- Good communication skills and computer proficiency.
- Forklift experience and ability to operate material handling devices.
