Senior Accountant

Overview Silicon Valley | Hybrid (2–3 days onsite) | SaaS A high-growth SaaS company is seeking a Senior GL Accountant to join its accounting team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role reports to the GL Manager and plays a key part in supporting close audit readiness, and process improvement in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accountant who thrives in scaling organizations and enjoys both operational and technical accounting exposure. Netsuite is required Responsibilities What you’ll do: Execute period-end close activities, including complex journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis Own key balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Support monthly financial statement preparation and global consolidation activities Research and apply technical accounting guidance; draft accounting memos and recommendations Partner cross-functionally to provide financial insights and support business initiatives Serve as a key audit liaison, supporting external audit requests Help establish and improve accounting processes, systems, policies, and internal controls Support ad hoc projects in a dynamic, high-growth environment Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong month-end close and GL accounting background Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze large data sets Experience with NetSuite Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr OCM Partners
